Drawing inspiration from the excitement surrounding the space race and jet age, designer Mark Przeslawski has conceived a concept vehicle as a way of rejoicing the adventurous British sports car producer and coalesced it with a pioneering drivetrain. Dubbed “TVR Sonitus,” the concept vehicle integrates a hybrid driveteain that integrates a bio-diesel fueled gas turbine engine, together with electric motors and batteries that flatten the power curve and deliver instant power, torque and acceleration endlessly. Reflecting traditional sports car styling and proportions mixed with contemporary shapes, the Sonitus presents an opulent exterior which is evenly matched by the wavy slit-like headlights. While the interior follows the design cues of the traditional TVR, combining the conventional elegance with modern technology.
