Gear for a green ride on the Yamaha EC-f electric scooter

Displayed at the Tokyo Motor Show, the new EC-f scooter from Yamaha is one of the main attractions of the show. Finished in lightweight aluminum, the concept two-wheeler is not only easy to control but also provides a sustainable ride in urban environments. Especially designed for city commuters, the electric vehicle generates power from a lithium-ion battery backed by a 0.6kWh electric motor. The Yamaha EC-f also features a built-in charger in its frame that can be plugged into any normal electrical socket for recharging. Check out the video after the jump.
