CoJoy bicycle requires cooperation between riders for a fun ride

Drawing inspiration from double paddle boat and the rotation of a wheelchair, Chinese designer Pengtao Yu has designed a unique bicycle dubbed “CoJoy” that turns biking into a fun ride. Accommodating two passengers (rather riders), each controlling one wheel, the bicycle moves straight only when both the riders cruise both the wheels with same speed. If they wanna take a left turn, the right or outside rider needs to paddle faster than the other, which requires a good cooperation between the riders. Therefore, a perfect balance or communication between the riders becomes essential, other than the basic skills of riding a bike.
