With the increasing number of vehicles in cities, parking is becoming a major problem in urban environments, knocking a blow to the auto industry. Addressing the issue, Brazilian designer Baita Bueno has designed a vertical parking system that parks your car at a 90-degree angle and just takes the place of one car to park three vehicles. Entitled “90 degrees,” the parking system apart from providing a safe parking space also harness green energy via solar panels to fuel your vehicle, making cities a better place to drive as well as live in. Featuring tire support and side clamps for a tight grip, the vertical parking system also integrates a generator and fuel plug, so your vehicle remains fueled all the time.

However, I have to say the solar panels are really a bad afterthought. Come on, did he stick these on just because it is fashionable? It looks that way.
Not very smart idea. Even if you think you have remove all the hazardus material you will forget something under the seat and BANG you will return with a broken window.
Furthermore, the car would have to be specifically designed for this system. Suspensions are not designed to support a car hanging vertically from the wheels. Fluid compartments are not airtight and will inevitably leak all over the place.
